Can you repair my jacket?
Yes -usually, there will be a small charge plus carriage.

Do you replace zips?
Yes, zips will be replaced free of charge. If the garment is more than 2 years old, we ask you to pay the carriage for return postage.

My jacket is leaking.
We can test your garment if it is still within the guarantee period of 2 years.
It is rare for there to be an actual leak, unless there is thorn damage or similar.
Usually the fabric only requires spraying with Nikwax TX Direct Spray to replace the Teflon coating (or similar) that would have been on the fabric when new.

How do I wash my jacket?
We recommend Nikwax Tech Wash, which is a very mild soap (no detergents) and if more than 2 years old hand wash. A gentle machine wash can be used on garments less than 2 years old. After a couple of washes Nikwax TX Direct spray can be used on the outside of the garment to help the rain bead from your garment. |
Can you reproof my jacket?
We do not have a reproofing service but you can use Nikwax TX Direct spray if the garment is clean. This will replace the Teflon coating that would have been on the fabric when new (Please read the Nikwax instructions carefully).
Nikwax products can be purchased from an Outdoor Shop or Millets.
